Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas, friends!
We hope you're having a meaningful holiday season. We wanted to share something that touched our hearts during this Christmas week. Our team got together to prepare hundreds of bags of food for refugees who are living in the fields and vacant lots on the northern coast of France. As we prepared the bags, we admitted that the little we have to give can feel so small compared to the overwhelming need.
But then we remembered a character in the Christmas story who faced a similar situation. An innkeeper with no available rooms gave what he had - a smelly stable filled with animals. It didn't seem like enough, but it was precisely the place God had chosen for his son to be born.
Just like Jesus was found in that stable, we pray He would be found in the gifts we offer each week to those passing through our region.
As we move into the new year, we pray that you will be encouraged and challenged to trust God and serve others with whatever you have. We are deeply thankful to be here and for every one of you who has sent us to serve. Thank you for being a part of this important work.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
